What is profiling ?

MULTIPIC® posts are of profiled steel. Profiling is a continuous industrial steel forming technique using split strips. This very technical process requires a very high performance production tool. Schematically, profiling consists in running a steel strip through roller shaped to impart a set pattern on the profile (see photos below).
1) Installing the steel spool 2) Paying out the spool and punching 3) Punched strip entering profiler 4) The strip passes through the profiling rollers = shaping of steel 5) The profiled post then moves on to cutting before packing
